A devastating road accident near Bengaluru on Saturday claimed the lives of six family members, including a CEO, when a container truck overturned and crushed their Volvo SUV. Preliminary investigations by the police have revealed that the accident was triggered when an Eicher truck, loaded with several tonnes of aluminum pillars, lost control while attempting to avoid a collision with another vehicle. Traveling at high speed, the truck crossed the median and overturned onto the Volvo SUV heading towards Tumakuru. The impact was catastrophic, completely crushing the car and leaving no survivors. The truck also struck a tempo during the incident, though the tempo sustained minimal damage.
CCTV footage from a nearby location captured the horrifying moment when the truck crushed the SUV. The footage is being analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation into the sequence of events leading to the accident.
